Our purpose is to help students develop key 21st Century Skills and master popular application software. Rather than present and teach computer concepts in isolation, the Kto8 lessons teach computer skills and apply them to core reading, writing, and math objectives. As a result, students gain meaningful reinforcement of key academic concepts while progressing toward technology literacy.

  • Use information displayed in line, bar, circle, and picture graphs to make comparisons, predictions, and inferences
  • Solve three step word problems involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Convert decimals to fractions and then reverse
  • Solve word problems using percents (for example sales tax) to find the total cost of an item

  • Demonstrate an understanding of both simple and compound interest
  • Solve problems related to perimeter, area, and volume
  • Solve problems related to ratio, proportion, percent
