Our purpose is to help students develop key 21st Century Skills and master popular application software. Rather than present and teach computer concepts in isolation, the Kto8 lessons teach computer skills and apply them to core reading, writing, and math objectives. As a result, students gain meaningful reinforcement of key academic concepts while progressing toward technology literacy.
 

NETS 2007

The National Educational Technology Standards for Students (NETS) have been developed by the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), the recognized non-profit leader in advocating for the effective use of technology in PK-12 education. The NETS 2007 Standards are used by educators nationwide as the guideline for establishing state and district technology education goals and expectations.
